2017 Quick Draw
Come and join WaterWorks Art Museum’s annual Quick Draw in the park at Riverside Park downtown Miles City, Montana. Directly following the world famous Bucking Horse Sale parade on Saturday, May 20th, 2017 all will gather to watch 24 artists complete their artwork from start to finish in 30 minutes! This year WAM will also be introducing our first Kids Quick Draw in the park at the same time as the adult artists will be working on theirs. These two events will start approximately at 10:30am. After their time is up, the adults will be given 10 minutes to frame their artwork and get it displayed on the back of a trailer that will be parked in the park. Meanwhile all that visit during the actual drawing time are welcome to sign up on a Bidder’s Registration form to receive a Bidders Number to bid on the finished artwork. The Kids Quick Draw artwork will not be auctioned off this year due to limited time. After all of the artwork has been framed the auction will begin! This happens right there in the park on the flatbed trailer! Of course we will try to get this all done so that all can go to the fairgrounds to enjoy the World Famous Bucking Horse Sale!
