Matt Smith will auction off the art immediately following the Quick Draw. This event will begin at approximately 10:30 am, as visitors arrive at Riverside Park after enjoying the parade. The Quick Draw is a fast moving event filled with a lot of energy. It is organized and timed to keep all attendees involved with the process, yet ready to move on to the fairgrounds for the next round of entertainment and activity.
We are pleased that the band MilesTown, has once again consented to play for not only our Quick Draw event but will also provide music at our Sunday Brunch Reception at the museum. I am confident everyone will enjoy the western music this band offers.

Highlights from the 2015 Quick Draw
Saturday morning during the Bucking Horse sale started off with rain showers and the uncertainty of whether or not the Quick Draw would be held in the park or moved inside. Thankfully the sun goddess looked kindly down upon us and parted the clouds and brought forth sun and warmth.
A large crowd merged to the park after the parade to watch 19 artists paint and prepare their works of art. After 30 minutes each artist brought his or her works of art to a large trailer to be auctioned off. The crowd was in the mood to make a purchase and bidding was fast and furious.
The artwork left for a new home in MN., TX, CO., and many MT. towns. The clay and stoneware along with the paintings were very popular. The 19 pieces averaged $621.00 to make for a very successful Quick Draw event.
Participating artists are: Vida Landa, Peter D’Ascoli, Jessica Blankenship, Jerry Fisher, Karan Charles, Tomi Simenson, Shayla Hagen, Jordan Pehler, Allen Knows His Gun, Michael Blessing, Meagan Blessing, Cathy Toot, Larry Pirnie, Bonnie Zahn Griffith, Jim Bailey, and Andrea Donovan.
